I run 28t w 11/47 on a 27.5.  I am more of a spinner than a masher, and Im getting old so there is that too.

Race to the bottom. Running a 26t oval w/Garbaruk 10-50 cassette.

I'll go one better with 26t oval 51 on the new XT8100 switch to a 26in rear wheel and then watch senior citizens walk past me on the uphills :)

I have a 12x150mm 26” wheel I should attempt to shoehorn into my G1629er for the lulz

Until my slayer, I’ve been riding a 32/44 on my 29r and I should have made changes to that a long time ago. Slayer is 30/46 on the 27.5 and it’s incredible. I feel like a 135lb Columbian when I climb these days.

with a 26 up front, you must be in 8th or 9th on the downs....  that's a lotta chain slap.
