I never thought my small, uh, rotors would generate such lively discussion

Yeah - it is the Internet after all.

You know, the user manual of your bike says that riding with these rotors could lead to serious injury or possibly death.

Isn't there a 140mm Avid rotor, though?

Greetings Znarf

Its not going to be a light build. About 1/2 new components including xt brakes.
Most everything new is silver, well see how that works.
The 1.5 Lyric u turn coil will be coming off the Rune.

27 pounds flat with some admittedly light-duty tires and rotors. In love with this thing.

Now just need to figure out seat height and suspension settings (thanks FullMonty)…

^^^^^^Nice bike!! I'm in the process of building those wheels with those tires. Are those the 2.35's? Are they a fat, tall tire? Gonna try and squeeze them on my 26" hard tail frame and even though I've read my TransAm can be converted, I've also read that those tires are quite big. Any feedback would be appreciated.

^ Yes very cool. So the adjustable d/o's slide wheel back and up yes?
Lowering b/b but slacking seat and head how much?

Freedom of contract. We sell them guns that kill them; they sell us drugs that kill us.

I'm curious as well. I was originally going to build a 650b wheelset for my Ibis, as it's 'approved' when it's in the 140mm travel mode. But it looks to be tight with a proper pair of 650btires. A lot of guys are getting those Pacenti 2.3 tires in no problem, but I like my Hans Damphs, and they are close fit as it is. They measure 27 1/4 with the 26" Haven wheels, so I though what's the point until I get a proper frame and fork to accomodate a big 650B tire. Maybe, maybe I can get them to slide into hte Chromag :)

The Red looks great. Might try the 650b on mine one day.

^^^^ very nice. I think that's the first one with real (coil) suspension. Guess who is going to have the most fun.
(edit: Bryan's intense is coil as well.)
