Unless someone is going to post up a blue S-Works Enduro with Enve hoops and 1x11, then I don't understand why this thread wasn't locked after Kenny P posted his most dialled, wait the most dialled build ever?

but it has a full chainguide on an XX1 setup, that is seriously un-dialled - Vital MTB comments said so. you're allowed a top guide or maybe an MRP AMG.

Some riders can't afford to run the risk of a dropped chain. How much do those XX1 Chainrings cost though?

Why slag free swag?

ummm, as your doctor i recommend against riding with a scaphoid fracture.

I was being sarcastic. At a minimum I would run a topguide/bash setup like this or a full guide. They probably cost a million so I don't really want to be bashing them into logs and rocks.

My Enduro Comp:

Man you is, you is just stupid. :fruit::fruit:

is going big on a bike the only way to get you stoked on the sport? what happened to riding with your bros, travelling, and riding unique places, to get people stoked on riding?

fines are useless. there needs to be more punches to the throat.

Well, I can say that in the spirit of testing, I have removed the guide. I have not dropped a chain yet, even on some shuttle days on some more bumpy DH stuff.

Also, for the tweener wheel size, 32T-34T ring size is just right. 34T is perfect for me to manage climbs like Old buck, up BP out of the canyon on lower seymour, or anything else long and steep. I could do 36T (tried for a couple of rides) but the point of XX1 is to give the 1x setup a bit of breathing room.

I should have a lighter set of wheels built that will take about 1.5lbs out of the build. The current set is built on the burly side with comp spokes, Flow rims and the Hans Dampffffs. I've got Arch EX rims with rev spokes and Nobby Nics (Pace*/Evo/TLR/SnakeSkin [HTML_REMOVED]- still a legit trail tire) for when the weather dries out a bit. 24.5lbs for a 6" bike with a dropper post? Yes please.

I'm not sure if I enduro ride but its a great bike to ride just about everywhere except for the extreme up and down. Been riding it pretty hard since 2010 and not one issue.

Just laced in a new 721, the old had a real good flat spot. Serviced the Hadley hub (love those) and tightened the loose cassette and rotor bolts. I guess I haven't checked it over in a while.

A tad under 34lbs

Would love to see an updated version with bigger seat tube for a wider range of dropper post options. Maybe even 650b? With an 1x11 setup oh yeah

You can get Cove (or probably any other shop) to ream the 30.0 to 30.9. You can then use any dropper post you like. I know Cove was offering to do this for free if you bought a Reverb from them a while back.

Interesting. I think I would still run an XCX or something myself. I don't mind not running a guide with a front derailleur since you don't have to stop to get the thing back in place most of the time. Good to know those teeth aren't just hype. :)

Pretty amazing number even though Nics scare me as a front tire. ;)

6" rotor on the front? Why so small?

Small rotors are something I don't like anymore. But they look cool.

Haters gonna hate I guess.
