Its 2013 and bikes have continued to evolve and improve over the past few years. People no longer have to make huge efforts to lighten up their bikes. For the most part, people can now simply focus on customizing their bikes to suit their riding style.

Use this thread to post up your bike. Feel free to share some details on your set-up, weight or what ever makes it special to you.

The focus of this thread is Enduro/Trail bikes.

Let me be the first!

2013 Altitude MSL

No tweaks since this is really a finished product. I've ridden many 6" AM bikes since I started riding and this one has it all (so far ;) ). Carbon, adjustable geo, cable routing inside and outside, iscg tabs, etc. The cherry on top of the cake is the pairing with a refined 1x drivetrain, another setup I've ridden for years. I can see myself spending alot of time on this bike in 2013.

Update:

I know…same pics as before. I'll try to put up some other bikes to keep the flow going.

Moved from a 26er Element to the 29er Element for the last part of 2012, looking forward to really putting it through it's paces this year, so far it's been a lot of fun :)

Well, kperras has already owned the thread for the whole year in the first hour it's been posted. The chain guide shouldn't be necessary with the XX1 drivetrain, is that more just for the guard?

My 2013 ride is the same as my 2012 ride due to I'm not rich. Otherwise it'd be a 650B'd 2013 Banshee Spitfire with similar build to kperras' ride.

2012 Bandit 29, medium
Stock build for the most part (X.7, Elixr 9, Float RLC)
Wheels upgraded to Hope Pro II / ZTR flow
Hans Dampf 2.35 trailstar / Nobby Nic 2.25 pacestar

26.something # as best as my screwy Park scale can tell. Got a little cold last winter in my garage, now it doesn't register a last digit when weighing.

-tapered Sektor Solo Air 150mm with newer Rev damping cart
-XTR front running the stock 30t ring, HBC bash ring
-XT 11-36t ten speed cassette
-X.9 clutch rear, XX shifter
-Cross specific XCX to play nicely with the tighter chainline of the XTR crank.
-SIXC DH bar, Turbine stem 70mm
-Reverb, Salsa clamp, Transition seat
-XX brakes, 140/180 rotors Matchmaker clamps for rear shifter and Reverb
-Ground Control 2.3 UST rear, Bontrager XR4 2.35 "tubeless ready" front. Both tubeless with some goop in.
-Hope Pro II EVO hubs, WTB Freq i19 rims, Stan's tape. 20mm front/10mm bolt rear
-Ruffian lock on grips, no-name cables/housing, lotsa' little ti and alu bits sprinkled about. M540 pedals. Cheapest 10spd. SRAM chain my local shop had. Cane Creek 110 headset, mastic tape and Velcro for silencing purposes. A ploy downtube guard - extends down enough to protect the lower linkage from rocks - quietly and with minimal weight.

(i dig the fork - begain life as a cheaply bought sektor solo air, straight steerer. picked up a supah cheap deal on a tapered csu last year, and bought the new damper after building this bike up - it deserved it. :) so it's basically a solo air revelation, but for about half what it would have cost. the tapered setup is worlds stiffer than non-tapered, since i was able to compare them back to back, on the same frame/same trails. it's not as stif as a straight steerer lyrik on another bike, but it's damn close. close enough that the pound less that the pound less weight makes it worthwhile to run for me.)

Ibis Mojo HD 140. Year 2 on the bike. It's had heavy use and a lot of big wrecks, so close up it isn't too pretty. It's seen a multitude of parts, but 80% of the time it's built as shown in the photo. The other 20% is is in 160mm mode with a Fox36 (and sometimes an Elka) and slightly heavier wheel/tire combo. It has an angleset at the moment which isn't shown.

Mojo HD 140 Large
RS Revelation WC
Haven Carbon wheels, Fat Albert trailstar
Reverb
XTR 1X10
etc
