Hey Tungsten,

here's something for you:

I modded my 14 Carbon Enduro 26 a bit today.

I put the 12mm crown race spacer (from the hack job 650b Stumpjumper) and the Enduro 650b shock extension (which is 5mm shorter than stock) on it.

I removed 12mm worth of spacers from under my stem and it is now slammed (with 35mm rise bars), the bars remain at the same height, yet my BB is 4mm lower and the head angle a little more than a full degree slacker.

It sits now around 65* and the seat angle is still good, because I am using a non setback post with the seat in the full forward position.

Short test ride went great.

Will report in a week or so, with pics.

@thx at JCL again for the part number …

That didnt take you long Znarf.

Surprised it isn't slacker than that with the spacer. What was it stock?

You must be like what you see with the new 650b Stumpy eh?

Yeah at first I was waffling back and forth whether I should finally come around to 27.5" and get a Patrol. But then I started thinking about the decent 26" wheelset I just put on the Bottlerocket last year and yeah…I'll be running 26" until I can't find any tires.

This too. As nifty and hi-tech as the carbon wonder bikes seem….I like metal. :rocker:

I'm pretty stoked. Just waiting on a 2015 Fox 36 Float and I'll get 'er on the trails.

Built by Pacific aren't they?

Yeah, welded overseas.

The welds might look a bit gnarly (the processing I did on the photo brings them out a lot too) but I really don't mind at all.

It's not some masterpiece welding like you'd see at one of those bike maker shows but it also doesn't cost as much as one either.
