C'mon Whitehonky, gimme' the goods……….

Yeah jbv your weight is within spec but the b/b height? Do tell.

thanks for expanding the photos, can't figure out how to do it… it is fun as hell, sharper handling than my now sold Shinobi. i don't know how they do it but the bike doesn't feel remotely large to me despite the numbers. it has a long reach but the bike rides very nimbly. as in very. the bb can't be any higher than spec than a couple mm's. my xfusion trace at 140mm is only 4mm greater A to C than the spec'd Pike 130. i was concerned that the bike would be 'so long', blah blah and started with a 40mm stem and went straight back to my 50mm ranger. measured HA is 67 degrees and it feels quite slack (again relative to previous 29er). STA is quite steep and the bike is a great climber. still sorting out a bit of body movement and timing as it is different and i'm only just getting back to regular riding. did a rowdy ride with fast guys last night and it's the bomb. i was hoping it would address what i wanted to change about the Shinobi (was a great bike BTW) and it does just that.

Looks like 336, assuming I've got the bike truly vertical and the ruler dead straight. Spec is 339. Highroller II 2.3 on the rear and Nevegal 2.35 on the front.

Satisfied?

I've been very happy. If you're buying new and can wait a bit, I hear that there is a 650b model coming soon. That being said, I'm having a great time of the operator, of which only the rear derailleur, saddle/post, and frame are stock. I slowly over the past year and a half swapped every part of the build.

Looking at a large used one for around 3k. A little scared of carbon.

Having broken a carbon road bike last year (cracked seat stay), I personally wouldn't buy carbon without a warranty.

Same experience I had.. all my frames are aluminum now… but if you go carbon the warranty is a good thing to have.

not really thread worthy so ill post it in here. Building up a new DH bike and wondering weather I should go with Codes or Guides. I know guides are branded as an all mountain brake, but im seeing more dh bikes specced with them. I had them on my enduro and they seemed fine. But codes are the well known dh brake. So what do you people think

Code's or other big DH brakes, unless your 75 pounds. I have guides on my hard tail, and with sintered pads they are an awesome brake, but should not be OE speced on a DH bike.

i have them on my 167 as well with sintered pads, i think the ZEE is a more powerful brake and better suited for park/dh runs

My new 2015 Sight. This bike rides so much better then my stock 2014 Sight A7.1, everything just feels more supportive and fun/poppy! I'm sooo excited about it.
Details include a 150mm Pike, CB Inline, XT everything and a Stealth Reverb.
