[…waits for husky guy to pop his head out]

I doing a Fall and Burn contract, running both a stihl 035 and husq 372, depending on the needs. the other day I was trouble shooting my stihl, and i asked the one of the top produsing fallers (experiance in the charlots and mission as well as the monashees) on the crew if he ever ran a stihl. he answer, i used to. it was funny at the time.

Just a speculative fiction. No cause for alarm.

better yet, let's all meet and try out the different saws. so far we've got:

synchro: ms192T
dean w: ms250
groundskeeper [HTML_REMOVED] knight-rider: ms200
nechako: ms192
silk: ms260 (is that the pro tho?)

anybody else want to join in?

I'd be game, but I doubt my MS290 will be on the mainland anytime soon.

You climbing now? Still with Don?

Hey Shirk

Yeah we are doing hazard removal from Gibson's all the way out to Powell River / Lund. Almost finished maybe another 4 weeks.

If everything goes well I will be in the fall class for My Utility ticket. I was thinking to get in this spring but the class was full and 2 of the more experienced guys on our crew are ahead in line of me :(

But yeah, climbing and loving it…

Hey Guy's I was just in our local Husqvarna store to-day, and notice they have a spring sale on, the one that caught my eye was the 240E reg $379 on for $319 anyone had some time with this saw.

Made any decisions yet?

I was using the ms192 today and I must say it is one awesome little chainsaw. So light and easy to use, I'm really impressed with it.

Congrats on the little one, and congrats on the new saw as well. Both of em should keep you busy for a while.

I just recently bought the 192c. It has lot's of power for a pack saw I bought it specifically cause it's the lightest out there, and the rear handle fits nicely through the slot in the pack. I can cut almost any windfall that I would encounter on the trails. I also have a larger saw for bigger jobs, so I specifically sought out a good pack saw and the 192c is it. I never noticed this thread when I was looking for a saw, funny we all choose the same saws. Good choice Tom.

I just bought a crappy little poulan with an 18" bar. First saw ever. I don't plan on cutting much but I give it a year before it goes tits up.
