Congrats on getting hitched! Cool pics.
I notice those concrete houses have flat roofs. You should put a railing all the way around the roof of the one you build the new in-laws, turn it into a giant patio. Install a rooftop BBQ grill and give em some outdoor patio furniture. They'll be the new kings of their hood.
Being a foreigner, are you subject to the one-kid policy?

Ha Ha! Made you look.
Looks great FO! In a couple years we're going to the Szechuan province to visit her inlaws. Should be a great trip, I wish it could happen sooner!
Pictures like that remind me why I was fascinated by National Geographic as a kid. It's always cool to see how life is in other parts of the world.
Well said. These pics are awesome because they show a side life we normally don't see. Most pics I've seen outta China are either of their leaders or of their smog.
Post more, yours were brilliant.
Cool pics once Ive seen them.
Congrats on the loss of your manhood

haha it's a nice idea but they generally don't have any kind of time to lounge around on a patio eating meat. It's up at sunrise, work work work until sunset then sleep. That big evening feast only happened because it was a super special occasion.
And no we're not subject to the one child policy but were gonna put off making babies until we move back to Canada.
To echo everyone else, this is a great post. Looked like a great day and a good beginning.

Completely agree. I love seeing the travel threads…
Just though I'd throw this one up there. The family requested a special picture of the oldest living relative. 96 years old she is. It's gonna get blown up and framed and sent to the village.
