There's a similar trail in Billings, Montana, called the Rimrock Trail.
It's also home to the Dick Blee Memorial MTB race.
Long story short, Mr. Blee failed to negotiate a corner.

My lovely wife is looking at spending $30,000 (!) on a used car.
That's about what I have invested in bikes, skis and motorcycles, so I'm not gonna say anything, but if anyone wants to pass on tips for dealing with car salemen I'm all ears.
So far all I got is don't finance at the dealership, deal with the bank and save a few points.

My go-to ride is up Lost Lake, down Crawford Trail DH and back along Earring.
And theres lots of easy riding for the family along the lower bench area as well.
And if you got a second day, you gotta hit Smith Creek. The Gruel up and Feel the Love for the down.

Anyone ever done one?
I'm going to be in Revelstoke with some of my guys for the Family Day weekend (with no family!) and one of the guys suggested we get a heli ride into the Monashees.
I've never done it and not sure it's worth the $$.

As long as shareholders make money, no one really cares how much the top 1% makes.
Well, we care, but we are too complacent to do anything about it.
What we will see the end of is American dominance of global affairs. In a few years we'll be buying all our shit from Chinese corporations with "party members" as CEOs and Board chairs. America will have about as much global influence as Spain. Or Ireland. Or Argentina.

Yeah, I'm still flogging that horse cuz I'm pissed at G3 for not warrantying my binders the second time they fell apart.

I've only used G3 Alpinist and Black Diamond Ascensions.
The glue on the G3s sucks and they hold water like a sponge but when the snow is cold and the glue is new, they work. So that was a really good day. Once.
The BDs are workhorses. They climb just as well as the G3s, the glue seems to last longer and so far, no water issues after three years (maybe 25 trips).
So yeah, I will never, ever waste my money on G3 skins again.
Which is too bad, cuz I was trying to support the locals (I had their Onyx binders on my Manhattans)
