I'm not exactly sure of the finer details but when I called two months ago and said I had a 2004 888r that isnt exactly broken but I'd like to know what some options are, they gave me the three 380 options and a price of each. I havent compared that to msrp yet either.

Thanks. I have an 07 888 on my park bike and recall the thread recommending you get a new fork. Always good to know of all options

Consistent, but somewhat lifeless DB Inline replaced with Rock Shox Monarch Plus. Needs a day in the WBP to get it set-up properly though.

What didn't you like about the DB Inline? Just curious. I've got a monarch plus, and it's a great performer…

Ride, don't slide.

No problem. Pretty easy decision in my case - especially if you look back at that thread and the picture from l'hospital.

I picked up this 2015 Giant Anthem SX in November. It's still bone stock, with the exception of the front tire and the bars.

I ditched the stock Ardent on the front because it was sketchy as hell and I swapped the stock bar for an Answer ProTaper DH bar.

I can't recall the weight. It's a large.

"It's, like, so much fun."

Is it too early for 2016 product?

Kona just got some 2015s out. How did you acquire a 2016?

I just got a new to me 2014 Process 153 DL :D

Previous owner set it up 1 by with a 28tooth front ring, but I lost the chain on every second trail today so I'll be buying a new 30 or 32 tooth front NW ring (haven't decided which yet). Not sure I need the one up ring either, might put the 16t back into the cassette.

Everything else feels solid and comfortable and is in good condition. Very stoked on the purchase.

Edit: Before anyone starts, yes the saddle could be angled further up. I just started playing with it, but was eager to ride it and post a pic.

Nice ride.. but your dropping chain issue might be due to the non-clutch rear derailleur.. unless I am seeing incorrectly?

So instead of starting a new thread, I'd like to pick up one of those front fork arch fenders. Is there any to stay away from or is there only a few choices?

These offer better coverage and are locally made:

Lucky for me, I work there now. :)

Officially announced today, the Process 134 DL (MS). I've got a nice King/Stan's wheel set and a reverb I'm tossing on there, but other than that I'll run it stock. So stoked. I'm coming off two seasons on a 153, which I love, so the direct comparison will be interesting.

Ride, don't slide.

i broke in my 167 today , did a few trails at the Woodlot today , it climbed better then i expected , it does bounce a bit when pedaling up the access roads . when on the trail it steers way faster then my Process , and pedals way better then my Entourage , i did not bash a pedal once where with the Entourage it was always a issue .

this bike is shorter( Medium vs Large ) for me and has wider bars( 800mm vs 740mm) with faster steering , once i change to my riser bars(1.5") it will help with the too far forward feeling i got at times . i will be swapping the wheelset to Hope hubs with OOZY rims and a Nobby Nic/RockRazor combo , this will drop some weight , i am also toying with clipping in again
