Shouldn't you be asking where that frame was welded?

I might if I was interested in buying one but I ain't 'cause I've seen some weights posted up for those (Rune/Spitfires?) and they come in a little heavy for my tastes.
Having said that I do think they're elegant, classy looking frames.

Freedom of contract. We sell them guns that kill them; they sell us drugs that kill us.

The switch to the 11 speed stuff starts making if you're currently running 10 speed 11-36 and it's time for a new cassette. If upgrading from 9 speed, the 11 speed group looks to be a no-brainer.

Let's say your 10 speed cassette is worn out and you want a 1x setup with more range:

OneUp 42t cog - $105
XT 10 speed cassette - $60 online price
OneUp RAD cage - $45
XT 10 speed chain - $30
Total: $240

If I had to guess on online prices for the new XT stuff (I came up with this by quickly comparing 11 speed XTR to 10 speed XTR prices at Chainreaction to guess how 11 speed XT will compare to 10 speed XT),
XT 11-42 cassette - $150 // 100-110$
XT 11 speed derailleur - $100 // 100-110$
XT 11 speed shifter - $70 // 61$
11 speed chain - $40 // 32$
Total: $360

Good estimates.

Check it out the prices are already out on CRC: http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/ca/en/s?q=m8000

Cheap as chips houuuuuuraaayyyy!

Banshee's are not light…but they are fun and built to take a good beating. The Prime is the best bike I have ever ridden and one of only two full suspension bikes I have not broken. For a big guy like me that means a lot.

2015 Trance SX. Bought this bike late last year. It's been great. I upgraded it with one blue and one gold valve cap, although this did add some weight.
29.4lbs. (Approx 14 1/2lbs of sealant in each tire).

So I took what I believe FlipFantasia said in the 2014 hardtail thread regarding retiring my 2004 888r to heart. So I "crashed replaced" it today at Marz NV and got me a shiny new, believe it to be a 2015 380 C2R2. Picked up an Easton Havoc 45-55mm. The bike felt tight riding it over from Mountain Hwy to Marz since parking was nonexistent.

The Fork:

The Stem:

And the Bike:

Since the good guys at Marz also set it up and the rear Fox, they were rewarded with some Stanley Park Amber and other random goods. Just have to swap the rotors around and find or buy a new rear adapter. Looking forward to this Whistler season.

I'm not exactly sure of the finer details but when I called two months ago and said I had a 2004 888r that isnt exactly broken but I'd like to know what some options are, they gave me the three 380 options and a price of each. I havent compared that to msrp yet either.

A couple of updates to the Enduro 29…

Consistent, but somewhat lifeless DB Inline replaced with Rock Shox Monarch Plus. Needs a day in the WBP to get it set-up properly though.

OneUp X-Cog 44T sprocket added. I don't generally go any lower than the 36T for most of my riding, but it sure is nice to have a super low bail-out gear when you need it. I'm also sold on keeping a higher cadence on tech climbs. Its really surprising what you can get up on this bike.

That the 167? I've had my eye on the 153 and the Trans Patrol for a while now, just have to throw a leg over both once I'm a little more flush with cash
