Anyone know where I can get some info on the Chromag ride on Saturday? Can't find it on their website or FB page.

do it….if you make it to stage 4 with 15 minutes of extra energy, I have a treat to share.

After looking at the list, I think I'll be 15min in deficit but I'll see what I can pull together :)

I don't see what time it starts and where to meet. Am I blind?

my god, the chromag clan is a rad bunch; looks like an amazing event (and i've not even heard of most of those trails).

not blind, was sent out in email earlier this week…

Saturday sign on is 8:30am at top of Alpine Way. With the goal of starting at 9am. There will be no food or support on the trails. You're on your own there. Should be time between sections to refuel, etc. As stated previously this is more celebration than race. The goal will be to re-group for each sector as a group and more or less arrive in Function together-Friday ride style. Rough schedule is Side 1 at 9am. Side 2 Yummy gate at 12. Side 3 Top of Stonebridge 3:30. Side 4 Interpretive Parking Lot 5pm. Drinking by 6pm. Full day….relaxed pace.

Also each sector will be well marked-timed and untimed sections but not the transitions. Assuming everyone can get to the sector starts especially as we will be riding as a wolf pack. Just stating this as I don't want to get bashed on Team Robot or by that Fraser Valley dude (kidding…sort of).

At the start of each sector I have asked a few people to say a few words and then we will rollout as a group. JF Robert is one of those and he has asked me to ask you all to think of one word that means "Chromag Family" to you. Email him your word at [email protected] or have it in mind at registration. Email him if you can as it will be easier for him to prepare his schtick.

Put 604.902.2104 in your phone. It is the WORCA patrol phone for emergencies. Steve the Hobbit is our man for Saturday. I could also use 1-2 more vollies if anyone knows anyone with a first aid ticket.

If I were to ride the Chromag event, I would do it wearing a bear suit-anyone know of a bear suit that is breathable and comfortable?

Wrong. Always.

sweet, i think i'm now the only one running a front drl

i did see another one on mtbr, but yeah definitely a rarity. fwiw 1x10 it's working so far, but my "baseline" trail would be the first two summits on seven summits or merry-go-round in castlegar…not sure if i can pull those off in 30x42, but i want to see at some point. so far fine in fernie

how's the crest holding up out front? stan's makes a 24" version, was thinking of building up a set for my son's next bike, but wasn't sure if they could take local/bc riding conditions

i don't ruin many front wheels as i don't get off the ground too often, but i've had it for a few years and it's been great. typical kootenay xc use i guess? (but i just read the weight limit is 190lbs, which i was under when i bought, but now i'm 205 easy. so we'll see…:pizza:)
