Have been fortunate enough to catch quite a bit so far. I know its jacked up intensity but man, every game is 10x more exciting than a Canuck game. I don't mean just the last season either, many years previous.
Hockey Playoffs 2014
Its been a pretty interesting first few days. Who woulda thought LA of all teams would be getting not just beaten, but THUMPED.
I also love the Nathan MacKinnon show. Impressive couple of games for a rookie!
Ignoring our abysmal showing this year I have an incredible time believing we went the distance with the Bruins.
Admittedly I haven't been watching the playoffs this year, but over the course of the season it seems like the level of play has elevated across the board. In 2011 the overall competition didn't seem to be as good.
And the Bruins have been thugs for years but for some reason people want to give them a pass and say they just play "tough".

TB pulled two, maybe three dirty plays earlier in the period that could easily have been called. Pacioretty hauled down bodily behind the play was an easy call. Timing of the penalty may not have been the greatest, but TB should be happy they only got two minutes in the third.
