Hockey Playoffs 2014

I either want to see a Habs/Hawks or Avs final. Or a possible Bruins/Kings smash-fest in the finals.

Id like to see the Avs do well. I'd love to see MacKinnon blow the roof off the playoffs (more so than he is already), and a team that was projected to be last place to finish at the top.

Plus, a Habs-Avs final would be amazing for the sub-plots.

While watching the game, I just found out that my wife's mother's cousin, John Paddock, is the assistant coach for Philadelphia. I'd lost track of him after Ottawa let him go.

Go Flyers!

Boston-Montreal has a lot of potential to go postal.

The inner anti-boston-fan in me cheered a little, but that's all I got.

That was a really good game of hockey last night… too bad Lucic had to embarrass himself afterwards (and then again when interviewed).

All in all, its really shaping up to be a good final (Im predicting CHI-MTL).

Yeah, I'd say that was the game I enjoyed the most of all I've watched so far, and not just because Boston lost. Before MTL scored their last goal, I was sure Boston would pull Rask early (Roy style), tie it up, go to OT, and then it could have gone either way on a lucky bounce.

It's nice to see original six teams going deep.
