I have an Ibanez, and can now play a A, C, D, E, F, and G chords.

Where can I buy songs with tab notes? I want to learn how to play guitar.

I've been playing for 2 and a half years.

I have an old classical that was my mom's - its Korean!

I have a really nice Blueridge amplified acoustic.

I have a vintage Silver electric - 1968 or something - semi-hollow body.

I have a Peavy bass guitar - I need an amp…I tried cheap bass amps out and they sound so terrible I could never buy one so I will be saving my $$ for a nice amp.

The only amp in the house is a Fender Frontman - it does have a foot switch though!

I have 21,474,850 rep points...

My blog - read it!

You ever get that jack fixed?

No dammit, and I still have that new jack sitting here. That's all there is to it - going to do it this weekend at all costs.

Has anyone played Rocksmith? I have never played guitar but it looks like a fun way to learn for someone that doesn't have much time to take lessons. It looks more fun too.

Fender Esquire, Epiphone Casino, Gibson SG
Lots of pedals and rack gear
Marshall JTM 45 Reissue
Mesa Blue Angel Head
Marshall 4x12 cab with greenbacks

But these days I mostly play through my Fender Champ. What an amazing little tube amp for home approved volumes.

I should make some recordings and post them here for everyone's amusement/ridicule.

Wrong. Always.

I love my PRS custom ce…It is a '10' top with bird inlays.
Right now, I am running a Mesa rectoverb…wicked tone.
Acoustic is a Taylor 814 ce.

I'd just about kill for an Ovation 12 string, but don't play enough to justify buying one.

And I've always lusted after one of these:

I'm in the process of learning new scales, chord scales, that kind of stuff. Trying to arrange songs in my head too. Wish I had a full band. Or could play drums and bass.

Whatever, it's fun.

Anybody know a good tube amp tech around Vancouver? I took back my rental Blues Junior and bought a mide 90's Fender Blues Deluxe on CL off an older guy who never took it out of the house. Seriously a loud amp. Have been reading many people will mod them to make the volume levels more house friendly.

Jaaaaaaaaaayzeus!!! How could I have missed this thread..!?!?! Guess it's been a while.

AWESOME thread. Ya man, self-admitted music/guitar whore here. Mega. I can't stress this enough.

What's not to say? I do tone-testing for a couple of high end amp manufacturers, which is an awesome honour. I get prototypes, I move some stuff around whether it be preamp glass or powertube glass, or the odd resistor/capacitor, and give my 2 cents. I love it. Give my opinion, amps get built, boom - there it is. Had the honour to work with many amazing manufacturers. Currently fave amps are Bogner, Diezel some of Friedmans stuff, and the older Fortin goods.

Anyway, gear, shit… Um, well, I've got my own recording studio, multiple heads and cabs, guitars, effects, etc. All analog, all digital, or a combo of the two. Most recently, really grooving to the Fractal product running FRFR through the new Atomic CLRs.

I'm a gear head, a music fanatic, totally obsessed guitar player…was laying some original new music just this afternoon (Massive Attack meets Ministry), do all my own drum programming (SD2.0), run Omnishpere along with Trilian and RMX, and a whack of other soft-synth plug-ins. Line-outs to either FAS or Two Notes DI to Reaper 64bit.

When it comes to guitars - Les Pauls and ESP Horizons. Period.
