New toy, 08 V10 with DH build kit, only mods are saddle, rims and E13 stem. Large frame weighs 40.5 lbs. Cant wait to get the Ti spring, stock wheels, Stan Tubeless and lighter cranks and pedals installed, that should drop it down to 38lbs.

I'm slowly working on it, there was a mess up with my wheel choice, and I'm waiting for my seat/post.

looking at:

Frame:2008 Chumba F5, DHX5 with ti
Fork: 2005 40RC2, with 08 internals
wheels: Race: Hope Pro2s, DT Revolutions, Stans Flows (no strips for tubeless)
Whistler: Hope Bulb, with 729 rear, 721 front.
tires: WTB 2.5 Prowler Mx, 2.3 ProwlerXT, Maxxis 2.5 DHFs for Whizz/mud
Cranks: 165mm, 83bb Gravity Lights (no spacer tube)
guide: Gamut P30, 36t E13 Guidering (i have to, sooo light)
Brakes: 2007 Magura Louise BAT Carbon, 160rear, 203 front
Shifter/der:X9 supershort
Cassette: SRAM 9spd road 26-11, but only 8+ a spacer
Pedals: Mallet Ms (no plates), or MG1s
seatpost: SDG I-beam
seat: SDG I-fly
bar: Sunline V1-OS (like all the cool kids)

im pretty sure im the heaviest of the bikes so far dont know exact but somewhere from 42-43lbs, no way anyone will every win a light bike contest with a shocker even though i could get it down to sub 40 its just a matter or $$, BTW there are some verrrrry sexy bikes in this thread

well if my bike ever comes in i'll be sure to post pics asap!
'08 flatline.. see if a dhx air fits.. boxxer wc, 823 ust on hadleys, thompson post, integrated stem, etc etc.. as long as it is lighter then my old rmx!

(ps, green pedals and grips lasted about a day..)
