(Being pedantic, but didn't Tomac switch to drops due to him taking up pro road racing as he wanted his MTB and road bike to have the same riding position? He never had drops on his MTB earlier in his career i.e. when he rode for Mongoose :nerd:)

You are correct Sir.

Doubt it. They're pretty different bikes.

Don't tell that to the followers of the cult of Monstercross.

Hasn't arrived just yet, but getting same as this…

Tubeless and some other tweaks should keep the weight sub 27.

It's so good. Like, so so good.

I jumped on that early bandwagon with my Team Moron / Marin. I vaguely remember it was good for climbing and bunny hopping, but pretty useless for everything else.

Wikipedia is great. Sorry I was going on what I remembered at the time. I was a roadie when I was a Tomac fan. I Thought he went from bmx to road. Guess that doesnt really make much sense though.

only 35 but still beat the 30-39 BC cup Champion 4 out of 6 races

Gonna give this a try, see if the Kool-aid is that good. No idea of weight.

Excellent build and great weight for components used. Mighty jealous of the Prime. :D

It does but I swapped a Revelation on it for my test ride purposes, it's still not mine yet but I want the Fox if I buy it.

Would not be so quick about the Reba/Revelation (which is the same fork in the 140mm variant, just different stickers).

I have abused a Reba 140mm 29er RLT with Maxle for a year now. From epics to extended park riding in the alps. It is quite stiff (though not as stiff as my former 36), damping is nice, Dual Air is really adjustable, the fork is light.
Have it on my Stumpjumper FSR 29er.

The 32 Float 29er I rode did not feel better, a bit less plush maybe.

If you can get a 34er Fox 29er fork, I would go that route though.

Have fun!

Greetings Znarf

Shinobi, schwing! hot bike, nice photo. i have the 'old' one, 2011. killer ride. i imagine those wheels are a nice step up. not sure about those tires though, blech. a couple of Purgatory's 2.4 would be a huge improvement.

What size? Curious to know know what it ends up being once you have spuds on there without tubes, etc.
