That's an interesting rig. Here's the full specs.

love the name. looks like some good ideas went into the frame design…

Trance X1

looks hawt. and after seeing how well the trance did in the 4queens (i think the winners of every stage, and the overall, were riding them!) color me interested…

There is supposed to be a 29er Trance-X for 2011 too, but I can't find any pics.

I've never swung a leg over a 29er and I am already sold on the idea of one for next year.

Between Seb/Arthur on 29ers at the 4 queens, and the Norco guys tearing it up at Wade's Excellent adventure, I'd say that 29ers can handle anything BC can throw at them.

I rode that bike on a few rides. They nailed the geo and trail number pretty well. Really capable bike on the singletrack and in the chunder.

Scott's doing it too. They're replacing the Ransom with the Genius LT.

I think the Scott looks awesome. But I'd have to be convinced that the shock was reliable…

many of us will be riding 29er's soon.
they are a ton of fun, and for many of us the benefits will outweigh the drawbacks.
just gotta sort out the geometry - so far only santa cruz have it right (short chainstays, low bb). hopefully more will follow.

the trance didn't do well at the 4 queens, the riders did. the top 10 guys would do well on almost any decent "trail" bike. still, its a great bike for sure.

If I do the 4 kings next year it'll be on one of these, Stumpjumper Evo.

66 degree head angle, 145mm travel and 26lbs.
