absolutly horrible . snow all the way up [HTML_REMOVED] slippery slimmy . should be avoided for a few weeks
Fromme 2012 Conditions
Mtn Highway is actually rideable well past Grannies - there are just isolated patches of snow here and there where you have to get off and push for short intervals. Grannies was completely free of snow this morning around 10 AM.
There were several rungs missing from the woodwork on Pipeline just before the teeter totter. No tools with me that could have repaired that.
Debate? Bikes are made for riding not pushing.
i got up to the fifth yesterday and rode leopard, crinkum, kirkford, colins, and the griffens. everything was really good except for kirkford. it seems the winter has been pretty rough on it. the spot where it splits off (just after the ramps) left and right and then re-merges is in bad shape (at least the left line). its really washed out and seems to be getting worse over the last year. after the two lines merge, the rockwork is pretty loose, as the dirt between it has washed away. it's a shame, really. when in good shape, that spot is a blast to ride. after that is mostly good, but there's still lots of wash-out in a few different parts.
overall, a great ride, though. best conditions i've ridden in all winter.

Mtn Hwy rideable to UOC, and all good from there down. Would have been a walk to 7th.

Yup, a foot or so of snow is on the road starting at UOC. Woodwork was really slippery on UOC from lack of tires keeping things clear. Otherwise great conditions.
7th is 100% rideable from the road. Just the aforementioned compact snow on the road from UOC.
Trails were great this afternoon. Rode 7th, Ladies, Upper Skull, Lower Ladies, Crater. Gotta love February! :woot:
I'm up at the first switchback right now. Heavily snowing and its starting to stick just before the first switchback.

Got up to the third and hopped onto kirkford. The snow had slowed down, a bit by then. Kirkford had a dusting of snow, and griffen was good to go.

Pretty snowy on the road above the 5th switchback on Sunday.
A few people pushed higher, but I opted for Crinkum.
Agreed. First ride on a wee bike today on ladies. Sketch fest on those top ladders but super fun.
Rode to Ladies today, top bit of trail was a bit sketchy with compacted snow and slickness on wood but otherwise in awesome shape.
I was wondering how the Ladies was going to work out for you.
My buddy and I rode Pipeline and it was good too. Snow only for a bit.
I was on the Intense.

Haha, we were wondering about the "Shed Bike Club" comment. I thought it would be a board member. Usually my bike is the dead giveaway.
