Planning to head to Fromme for the Feb 25th weekend for my first trip to the shore. Are the trails pretty much clear of snow by then, or would we be better off to wait a couple more weeks?

Who knows? Weather could be good, could not. Usually you're gambling until mid-march with trail conditions.
100 % chance of weather.

The Monster Coaster awaits you.
Thread killer
It's not 2011 anymore so why is the thread still titled "Fromme 2011"? Someone should change that.
Sorry, but it's been bothering me for awhile. That's all.
Thanks to whoever changed it. :)

Because no one started a Fromme 2012 thread.
People just kept posting 2012 info to the 2011 thread.
Edit: I've trimmed the thread to just 2012 posts. The 2011 posts are in, you guessed it the Fromme 2011 thread which is now closed but you can still read it. I've done that for a bunch of the riding areas to make the trail condition threads shorter [HTML_REMOVED] more timely.
Road is good up until the 4th switchback. Ducked into ladies there. Some snow above that on the trail, below is 100% clear. Said hi to digger on lower ladies again, he built a little kicker after the roller coaster.

HEY !!!
what about those of us with time travel machines..
how are we supposed to get accurate trail conditions from 2011 now ???
whateva…:argue:
Guys, thanks for the Feb weather tips. Think we're gonna try end of Feb. Monster Coaster could only be more fun with a bit of snow and ice on it :D
50cms at Grouse in the last 24hrs. Doesn't look like it snowed below 600m though.
Rode griffen today for the first time in a year. That trail has some sweet changes! It's all pedal pedal pump pump rail pedal. Fast and über flowy.
Thursday February 02 - On the road - Snow @ all the switchbacks but as soon as you're under the canopy it's fine. Only climbed to Ladies as there was snow starting about 100 m prior. Trail was excellent. Water looked deep and cold :high:
So how was it up there today?
When does the snow start?
Snow starts at the 5th switchback, where you climb in to get to Crinkum.
^ Trails are all clear though up to Expresso
