I was mostly referring to the very bad placement that led to EDM goal #2. I can't think of many compelling reasons for a goalie to be so far out of the crease as to let an opposing player travel freely between himself and the net.

When was the last time Luongo let in a bad goal? Game 1 against the Ducks when he came in as a back up. The defense of the Canucks has been shit. I can't wait for him to be traded and Schneider turn into a bust.
On a side note: Luongo is the only Panther the Canucks have got that has actually worked out. They picked up Ballard, Booth and Garrisson, who have all been busts. Either the Canucks have the worst scouting in the league, or they don't scout. Seems to be working well for them.

I do agree that the Nucks haven't really been dominating. Luckily they haven't been hurt too bad in the standings.
They've been realy solid in faceoffs but that's probably just another GG joke of a stat.

It's ridiculous to even try to find a trend with only 9 games played, but at least VAN has won more games than they've lost, which fewer than a third of the teams league wide can claim.
