Like most clothing companies, just trying to sell an "image".

I'm cool with bushes, nothing gross as long as they are tended but I really wish American Apparel would drop the perv aesthetic.

When oh when will you go bankrupt, American Apparel?

Thank Jesus. I hope this company goes under.

I have hated it every since I saw their dumb store for the first time when I was in Halifax. They over-charge for hipster clothing that look terrible on everyone. And their ads..good god, fire that marketing team!

Good riddance.

Well judging by the photo I don't think they're trying to 'bring the bush back' as this article was so quick to leap to that conclusion.

Looks like a crappy drawing with some random bush. So what?

AA gets the customers they want with their campaigns. Dumb hipsters. I am so surprised that the GP is so incredibly shocked by their advertising. It's silly..

yawn

Hah, Great marketing. Pretty genius as a last ditch effort.
