Just curious, how tall are you? I'd have to test ride it but I'm wondering if a large is too big for someone at the 6ft mark?

I was pretty pissed when I broke a pair of the originals. Hope these are beefier.

I noticed that the 2017 Carbon sights and ranges are missing from the website and was surprised. Still coming? Anyone know? The aluminum models look to have better value than last year.

I had the RF Indys and slowly destroyed them over about a year and a half. They weren't bad but the fabric around the actual pad wasn't beefy enough. Now using Dakine Slayer pads. Better fit and beefier fabric. But I've had to hand sew a seam together again. But overall tougher than the Indys.

Have to say I am not impressed with the durabilty of any of the MTB apparel brands i have tried. Gloves seams, short seams, pad seams etc. The sewing just isn't up to the task. Roach needs to come back or if they are going to charge $100 bucks for a pair of shorts I better not have to sew it back together again in half a season.

Riding a reverb right now that came on my new bike but had a GD for 3-4 years and still have it kicking around. Very simple to service for your average home mechanic, pretty reliable and works good. The Reverb feels more polished but realistically I never noticed the play in the post once I was riding with the GD. Also prefer the lighter lever feel of the GD.

I am very happy with my new Altitude 750 msl. The adjustable geometry means you can leave if fairly slack and low for park days and then steepen it a bit for everything else. Might be on the lighter side of things though but I am surprised how stiff it is coming from an older bike.

The Wreckoning sounds like a fun bike but I would be pretty sketched out spending that kind of cash with a company that can't update their website. Will they be answering warranty calls in a couple of years if the website is too much to handle?

I do most of my own basic tune up work. Don't bother with suspension overhauls, wheel trues and brake bleeds but tune ups, drive train swaps, new cables etc I do myself. I spend way under $1000. I am also not super mechanically inclined but some basic tools, some patience, and some time and almost anybody can do most of this stuff. HUB does maintenance workshops if you are interested in learning the basics (like this one) Youtube is also great for this stuff. When I lived in an apartment I would drag my stuff into the parking garage.

I support the change. It is the last political act of an MP dying of ALS. Our anthem should reflect equality in this day and age. Sure it is a little thing (from the perspective of a bunch of dudes) but it is symbolic and a thing taught to every school child.

Suspensionwerx is worth the money but regardless it should be done yearly by them or your local shop.
