2013 NHL Playoff Thread - or "The Events Leading up to This Years Vancouver Riot"

(I do find it funny out how serious people get for hockey when most of them don't even play the sport.)

I play beer league. Canucks are going to get their asses handed to them.

I think it's more important that someone from our team will score at least one goal.

You would have thought the least loloungo would do after letting in 3 was to score one himself.

Too bad they can't count shootout goals in the total. They would be tops in the league for goals scored. lol.

Don't the goalies just stand there and get beat five-hole though?

I'm referring to this playoff series. Torres isn't on our team anymore, so he doesn't count.

sorry I meant in playoff games counting back to least season. Remember the Boston series? Wasn't it Lapierre that got the winner in game 1? So that holds as much weight as the goal we got last night..

Those may not all work.
What I find funny is when people watch hockey who aren't serious about it - or at least interested in the outcome. What could be more boring than watching something you don't care about.

But seriously, I saw Daniel with at least 3 chances where he'd handled the puck in front of a wide open net … and hung on too long, then passed that sucker away. I mean, it's all great to have mad passing skillz, but shit son, you gots to get that "look-shoot" thing figured out soon … like yesterday.

Great hit, shitty result. Gryba got two games for a clean hit. Diaz should feel like shit for sending up the middle like that. Hate to see the end result of Eller on the ice like that but it was a clean hit.

Let's hope Torres pulls through for us again today.
