I like the pumptrack bike but trail hardtails, especially out here, totally suck. Preloading suspension is a huge part of bike handling IMO.

^Do people really run their brake leaverz at that angle? I don't have an XC lid / goggles combo so maybe I'm a bit out of touch with the latest Enduro look.

I do, mine are probably even flatter than that and have been for a good few years now. Makes you keep your wrists down which seems to stop you going over the bars and helps you roll over stuff easier. Or at least it's supposed to do that.

Also, that Trance is nice. Kinda feel like it needs the all-black Pike though.

i think this is the higher level trance:http://www.pinkbike.com/photo/9891566/

main issue with fork swaps is Giant's Overdrive headtube standard (1.5 x 1.25).

^Looks to be a team replica. Chromag now makes an OD Ranger stem. :fix:

1. Purchase Bike
2. Replace stock stem, shock, seat post.
3. Prof… er ride!

Why slag free swag?

ummm, as your doctor i recommend against riding with a scaphoid fracture.

Apparently getting short stems for the overdrive steerers has been a bit difficult. I'm digging the black / stealth theme.

Strange they didn't kashima the shock.

Sounds like Giant is going all in on this one. Lets see how it all plays out

There are some angry people on pinkbike. Maybe I'm too tired from actually riding, but if Giant wants to make any kind of bike, let 'em. They're the ones that have to live with it, not us.

All that shows is cyclocross is a load of crap and should have died out 20 years ago.

I think that bikes looks awesome. I think it's interesting that instead of taking the standard position of 29s for XC, 27.6 for AM and 26 for DJ/DH they're pushing 27.5 as the all-round choice.

I'm reserving judgment until I see the geometry tables then I can start complaining about what a poor XL it is.

There's nothing better than an Orangina after cheating death with Digger.
