you sure they have air in them forks?
I'm pretty sure FOX are air and look at all the rear shocks coming on board.

seems the sale (rather than liquidation) of the bike division is still in play:

Have you watched any DH World Cups lately?
That comment is a bit like, "Have you watched Formula 1 lately?" with regards to choosing my commuter car suspension. Just because it's potentially faster for Aaron Gwinn doesn't mean its better for me. World Cup DH bikes that are mega stiff may be effective on DH tracks for sub 3 minute runs, but far from fun, and I ride my bike to have fun …. and do long descents.
Further more, air springs may work fairly well for any given track, when freshly serviced, and setup appropriately. But even at it's best, air springs are sensitive to air temperature, lack small bump sensitivity of a coil, always have an initial preload, have funky spring curves and from what I've found near impossible to get right for a wide variety of trail types. Then add in increased service intervals etc and I declare coil springs FTW … even the Endurbros are figuring it out.
I am currently air spring free and couldn't be happier.

from that link
"Marzocchi MTB is open for business. We are only being sold. Not closing. Marzocchi Moto is closing."
From what I hear Marz in North Van is still open

No doubt there are disadvantages but there are huge advantages with air mostly with weight gains and changing air pressure versus springs.

I'm not sure those qualify as huge advantages? Minor weight savings, a 380 C2R2 is 0.2 lbs heavier than a Fox 40 Air with the 380 carrying a shwack more oil. Once you have the right coil spring you're done, no more "did my air spring lose pressure, maybe I should check it, it's a little cold, maybe I'll let it warm up first". Maybe we'll have to agree to disagree.

Can anyone verify Naz [HTML_REMOVED] Alex are still sweating it out @ the service center on Rupert street?
I am guessing I have to call to book service since I am not local?
Unless they shut down today, they're still going.
They're still going.
heading there at the end of the week to get my fork they serviced for me

They're still going.
Never Say Die.
I figure if Marzocchi does fold Naz should approach the manufacturer and do small runs of the most popular fork models under the brand name (wait for it):
Nazocchi.
Global sales and service department in North Vancouver. Huge performance:price value from buying direct from Naz.
Ditch the moto nomenclature. 380 becomes the 778, 350 becomes the 604, and anything 29er falls under the 250 category.

Ummm, you realize that those numbers refer to the stanchion diameter of the fork, right? (i.e.: 380 = 38mm, 350 = 35mm, etc.).
There were rumours that Marzocchi's future might be revealed at InterBike. Anyone hear anything?
i will ask Alex when i see him on Thursday , last time i was in there ( 2 weeks back ) he mentioned there was going to be news in the next little while , but until then business as usual . Alex was at Interbike as well so i,m guessing they had a display .
