^^ I think he's referring to closing the Mystery Creek exit to bikes. You have to take the Hyannis exit or Bottletop.
Oh that.
shakes fist at sky "Not the shitty exit!!!"

Mystery had always been a hiking trail. They're just enforcing it now.
There are two exits for bikes, isn't that enough?

Yeah it would really be nice to see people respecting the trail designation. LSCR is very supportive of mountain biking and seeing tracks down the fresh gravel on Mystery Creek trail is really disappointing.
LSCR has put a lot of time and money into fixing up that trail, and if they have to go back in and redo it because bikes just groove it out again they are not gonna be impressed.
Plus it just means more time and money spent on things other than bike trails……..

Agreed. That trail is not really suited to handle the masses.

Meh. The masses will exit to Hyannis. That killer climb up to bottletop is brutal.

Remember about 12 years ago when we spent a weekend fixing and gravelling that whole lower section….and a few weeks later they closed it to bikes?
that was sweet.

Is the trail work from this year not holding up? It will be a shame if an 'XC' type descent is going to get wrecked by all the shuttle whores….
treezz
wow you are a ass

it's at the end of the most common shuttle trail on the mountain
you guys mock shuttlers, mock them if the don't like the climb up Bottletop, and then mock them if they ride down it.
Time to get over yourself

Heh heh, I only made the dig (so to speak….) because I helped out for a day on it earlier in the year, and it's a shame if it's getting ripped up due to it now being the main exit out of Neds.

The top part is holding up fine. Its the steeper sections that are getting more chundered.
This area may get rerouted anyway.
After the slope slid about two years ago you can see sections of the trail that are slumping on the traverse.

A XC line contouring from the Bottle Top area to the end of the Suicide Branch would be awesome! I don't know how feasible a line like would be though.
cbc is cool, its like riding on cobblestone. i think it needs more cobblestone.

pretty tough… lots of gullies. It would require a lot of bridges.
