I love Whistler for the apline, but when the alpine is closed, Blackcomb seems like the best choice.

totally disagree with that, but Whistler has lot more 'hidden' stuff…

Heard it was super heavy today. My roommate was back in Van by 2pm.

Thoughts on tomorrow?

Yeah after over thirty years skiing here I know when to stay inside.

Debate? Bikes are made for riding not pushing.

I had more fun today than yesterday. CBC was fun.

That said, going into today, my expectations couldn't have been lower.

so, with alpine low minus 10 tonight, are we going to have a nice pile of frozen crust tomorrow?

high alpine should be smooth but not likely too deep. speed pow!

peak line air monkey circus will be in full effect.

the term you looking for is near surface faceting. = speed pow.

Just a speculative fiction. No cause for alarm.

play safe if you are going in the backcountry. conisderable avalanche danger means something totally different than it has in the past few months. 15cm of storm snow is a lot different to the up to 150cm that fell in windloaded spots over the past few days. Sure its tightening back there are a few funky layers/crusts out there to wary of.

Peak chair air show in full force, I missed it but apparently there was a front flip single stager over air Jordan. I did some bigger (to me) drops today as well, so deep up top!
