"He who makes a beast of himself man relieves himself the pain of being a man" Hunter S Thompson

we should have somebody support the "FOR" side of the argument

http://www.quotationspage.com/quotes/Hunter_S._Thompson/

Nobody in modern times can really represent "for" better than HST he was the master ,the consummate pro .Unfortunatley OR perhaps it was just meant to be, or part of the gig but he checked out early

A few ski/paddle/sky dive buds used to quote HST religiously and those were always strange and interesting (in hindsite) trips . Really IMO its all just part of life on the edge some folks want to keep going to the edge just to see if its still there and some people have to BUT the edge is a moving target … just remember it takes a clear mind to make it

I find if I smoke pot to escape or when I'm really stressed out, that's when I get depressed.

yeah if i am pissed off or feeling blue i just haaaavee to roll up a big marley……… then i am suddenly wisped into the euphorical world where abosulutely nothing matters but my next drag. the other week i forgot about my new born baby and let it starve in its crib while me and my friends were in the next room doing one of our four day marijuana binges. i sleep on a torn mattress with a sheet that resembles the fecal excrements of a hungarian viking.
is this plant ruining my life?

As for the argument that people drink and smoke to drown their multitude of problems… all I can say is I am essentially forced to quit everything for 3-4 months every year, and I don't break down and wallow in the failure that is my life.

Once I'm back in town though, I voluntarily pick it up again. It almost sounds like something I enjoy doing doesn't it?

POT HEAD.

Being an agoraphobic adrenaline junkie would be pretty convenient, because you could get your rush from just going to the store to get some milk instead of having to jump off a mountain or out of an airplane.

they also call me "balloon"
