Another plug for the Shure e2c's. Rock solid in my ear and I wasn't able to wear the iPod stock headphones because they kept falling out.

The problem is that you hear the limitations of mp3's and the cheap ass iPod D/A converter if you're used to hearing CD or vinyl quality music.

I learned the hard way to towel off my bike before the dog. I'd rather have a slightly oily dog than a hairy bike.

I'm looking more for usability. They must stay in riding.

they do,

I've been riding with them for two years, the silicone earpiece grips the inside of your ear. When I pull mine out it makes a popping sound.

a friend of mine has the B[HTML_REMOVED]O A8's. I tried them and the sound I heard on them was absolutely amazing. These puppies adjust in so many ways that you can fit them in just about anyones ears (big or small). They also stay put, so I am told - from one of the design Engineers at B[HTML_REMOVED]O….

bad thing is that they really make you notice how crappy all of your downloaded music actually sounds.

exactly why i don't download music.

I've got a pair of those. Good sound, but they're a pain in the ass to put on / take off, especially if you wear glasses.

Shure e2c's for sure.

I just got my pair, after previously having the Sony MDR-EX71SL's, and there's no comparison. The Shure's are way more balance, are exceptionally clear and detailed as well as having bass. The bass isn't punchy so much as it's incredibly accurate and doesn't overwhelm most sounds like the EX71's.

For staying in your head, you need to yank on the Shure's pretty hard to get them out, especially if you're using the foams (work similarly like ear plugs.) And something to mention is the cord is very thick, like 2-3 times as thick as the iPod or Sony's cords.
