Hello everyone!
I got a really good offer on a 2006 SC V10 frame. I tried to search the changes from '06 to '09 but couldn't really find any relevant info.

Is the frame a good buy, or should I instead save my money and buy the new model? I'm in a big dilemma!:crybaby:
HELP!:???:

In 2008 the V10 got a make over. The rear end was redesigned, no longer has the large dropouts, the brace in front of the rear tire was narrowed to prevent chain slap and lost some weight. The carbon fender was reshaped. The upper linkages were changed to carbon and the front end was redesigned and lost a bit of weight.

If the price is right buy it!

You can compare the 2006 to the 2009 in the photo

congrats on the new frame!
I'm looking at making a deal on an 05' V10. It's not as purdy or light as the 06+ model, but they're great bikes regardless.

For what it's worth, I've heard that the frames Peatty and Minnar are racing on are quite different from the production models. Slacker, lower, etc. I believe that even the shock stroke-length is different.

I wonder how long until the Peatty World Champ edition replica hits the showrooms

there was a video about this in the winter, where the designers were talking about how they went to longer stoke for the race bikes as minaar and probably rennie were blowning up shocks the previous year.

Why slag free swag?

ummm, as your doctor i recommend against riding with a scaphoid fracture.

I like the first gen better than the second. Its a better straight-line nasty rock garden point-and-shoot frame than the newer one. Don't believe the hype.

That's good to know.
I need a down and dirty dh whore in my life, and the S/C is what the doctor ordered.
