oh come on dave..

you would never go into business under the quidance of just bean counters, or no one would EVER start any venture..

you're right but..

in this economy, not to many businesses are willing to take a 5 or so year financial loss before the payback hopefully starts. The reception to the park was lukewarm at best, and it obviously wasn't worth it. I enjoyed it, but it never seemed very busy.

Yup, and obviously their phone wasn't ringing off the hook with people inquiring about it in the last couple of years either.

Can't blame them honestly, though it is a shame.

I think a lift should be slapped up Burke. Keep all you punters off the Shore.

The solution is in the statement. Why would we come to the shore, when we have Burke?

Bummer, but not a surprise. No hotels, no retail, probably not much cash being spend outside of lift tickets.

Thank Buddha, for the nasty climb up Burke, so it keeps all of the punters off of Burke. For me it's, do I ride Burke or the Shore? Burke wins every time.

They built a bike park in New Brunswick(sugar loaf),and look at the sucess of Highland.Maybe if we get enough interest, lets bombard them with calls asking if and when .Im sure if more people e mailed them ,they would see the light. Or what if they sold the trays to Semour.
why is it not a reality.
Say yes to Lift Access riding in the lower mainland.
