Anyone have insider info about Cypress Bike Park?

I think we've been hoping the park would get a second life, once the Olympics leave town. Anyone know anything?

it wont happen this year. it will take them a long time to clean up all the olympic crap.

i forwarded the other thread to someone i know at cypress so they are aware of the interest :)

Cypress is going to be very busy with post-Olympic remediation this year. It's going to be a l-o-o-n-g process.

Your best bet is to hope they do alright financially out of 2010 and rally support for 2011.

don't hold your breath. Doesn't sound good for bike park anytime soon.

no worries i dont..

from closing day of the bike park to opening day the next season, Whistler ceases to exist for me

its like this magical land that only is around for a short period of time.. the rest of the year i have no idea what happens to it.
