Wicked weekend. Thanks trails crew. Really impressed with how much work was done over the 3 days I rode.

Would be curious to know numbers for WBP this summer. As a (mostly) weekend warrior, outside of long weekends, line-ups did not seem as consistently big as last summer. I don't think there's anywhere to see the data in Vail's public filings.

Unless there were throngs spinning Dusty laps non-stop, I'd concur.

So I threw on the GoPro for closing day to get me some footy to keep me warm over the winter.  After watching it, I realized there's a section that is totally double-able that I've never seen before riding.  Have you all been doing this all this time and simply forgotten to tell me?

I copied the link at 24 seconds in... here's to hoping it will play from there.

I shot it in 2k.  It might be defaulting to that and your computer might not be keen on that workload.  Set it to 720p or somesuch if so..  otherwise, I have no idea what's up.

Interesting watching other peoples lines. I ride totally different lines in a lot of sections. Oh and you missed the NJ drop! ;)

What double section were you talking about?

Also I'd like to know how much dirt gets taken off the mountain each year. Washing down the drain at the wash station or carried on bikes back to Vancouver. It would be interesting to estimate the amount. Or maybe as winter seems set in I'm bored already!

You have to slow down to hit that drop.  THAT'S BLASPHEMY! ;)

Haha yes but you gain so much speed from doing it.

That double is tricky especially this year as some nice 29inch holes formed in the turn.

Ooo, I'd wager a beer or two I'm more right.  Let's set a date for next year... only 217 more days.  Sniff.

I just watched your A-line vid. Funny when you are forced into Pizza Cat ;D
