Kind of has a Mont Ventoux look to it. Nice shot!
2nd pic is pretty amazing as well.

Best I can do is this one. This is from the eastern cascades, just over an hour from Seattle.
Let's see how long before the Seattle locals figure it out;)

p.s. - I'm the one in front:P

I love Lee's pics, make me yearn for the epic ride again. I wish I had some pics to share….but alas I am a fatty who has not ridden to the treeline in quite some years. You ride the Island much Lee? Any good XCish stuff below Nanaimo?

Those mules look like they're having a GREAT time…I wonder how that translates to a mtn. biker? That 1st pic is amazing:eek:

hell I could hardly breath walking. like 4800-5000m I don't think I'll be racking off that pass on a bike. besides getting in and out of the region I'm hoping to spending most of the time in the 2000m-3000m range where O2 is not so scares. down here

bet ya didn't know there are palm trees in Tibet, did ya. ;)

Just a speculative fiction. No cause for alarm.

Hahaha - nice. That will be my thing learned for the day. Most of our high trails max out at just over 2,000m.
Works for me…I like my oxygen not too thin:P

You asked me once before and I'm sure I posted back with the link to a story about riding in Duncan - 100 kms of trails there if not more

I can't top that; highest altitude I've biked is 10,000 ft in Boulder Mtn in Utah. I want to get to the front range in CO sometime soon.
