Yes, that's a fair guesstimate from that map. Not too tough to get hooked up to Pearson or Lick.

Thanks. I prefer to just give folks a quick taste and keep the profile generally low. I'll have more in the coming months now that the road bikes are hung up, the tourista's are gone, kids are in school and work settles down :cool:

It is behind sunbowl. We were advised to bring the big bikes and wear the full face. The big bike was worthwhile since its pretty fast and chundary riding down the access roads, could have done without the full face though.

nope. Ecuador doesn't look like that - much lusher [HTML_REMOVED] the big peaks are rounded volcanoes.

I would guess the Rockies…possibly Jackson Hole, WY or Colorado area?

SNorris… dude, judging by the 'feed that boy a sandwich' look you have going in that first pic up on the ash slope I'd say you spend a lot of time out doing thick rides in places where there aint much food. Damn, my dog wears bigger pants than that :P
