How does that make it worse?
The news was trying to make the Republican pickups in the Senate as significant, but when was the last time a Republican senator went against the party on a noteworthy vote? There was always those few that hummed and hawed about how they would vote, but they always fell in line at the end.
The Dems took Congress and that is going to affect Trump with investigations, so I would say things got better last night.
It's worse because it'll be two years of a gong show, with little getting done.
On second thought, maybe no laws being passed will be a good thing.
