I assume you're in bed with KTM, so I'll ask… When are we going to see those bikes in Canada?

Freeride will be a 2013 model and the e-bike will still be a couple of years i am guessing to get here…

Personally I think a trials bike and dirt bike are so fun on their own that one that seems to do both would not do either as well, but the it could be a big hit since the newest riders for trials bikes are what we got them for more adventure riding than doing trials events. And the Zero has come a long way in a short time but they are still not there to compare to a dirt bike, however if you go out with a few guys on these e-bikes it is pretty cool. However I think the zero battery and motor in a trials bike would be a pretty sweet combo too. Just like mtb you need a quiver, ha ha!

Yeah, that's kind of my train of thought also…I'd love for it to prove us wrong.

So, purely speculating, being KTM with their early release dates we may see that Freeride next summer/fall?

I'm getting too old to be throwing around a 260lb bike with 60+ horse power… A detuned and flickable 350 might be just what the doctor ordered.

I'm sure it is an awsome bike, but it looks too much like a chinese dirtbike for my liking.

does not matter how clean or silent a bike is, green thumbs will always find a way to say no to a powered bike, just look at the adversity of mountain bikers to the zero bike, they can't get past the word dirt bike and a guy with no helmet and a mac jacket on a wound out 125 2-stroke…sad really as during the bc bike race peoples attitude really changes when they see the bike, they do think it is way easier though till. I will always offer to trade…just to watch the look on their face when they try and ride all the skinnies on it..ha ha.

I bet I could get away with riding one here in Surrey. We got guys riding bum-motos all over the place. You know, the bicycles with the motors bolted on. Nobody seems to give them a hard time. What's the difference?

the ken block of two wheels lol, pretty impressive. Hard enough to do controlled drifting donuts on dirt.
