so you mean top seeds like the sharks and the blues have a better chance of winning than the kings?

I think we're all smart enough to realize he was quoting the probability of winning at the start of the playoffs.

Meh, once the playoffs start, you might as well throw away the regular season rankings as any Canucks fan can attest to.

Exactly. The Bruins were the favorites (3:1 if memory serves) and the Canadians were 9:1 maybe, can't remember. Anyways, those numbers would all be (obviously) substantially different now.

EDIT: Just for fun… Odds from playnow.com

Chi 2.8
MTl 3.5
NYR 4.8 (this seems way wrong to me)
ANA 6.25
LAK 6.75 (also seems way wrong - but maybe a good bet!)

some are also smart to realize the sarcasm too.

:D

We don't know what our limits are, so to start something with the idea of being limited actually ends up limiting us.

rainmaker = rain man??

When one person suffers from a delusion, it is called insanity.

When many people suffer from a delusion, it is called religion.

Whoever comes out of the west will steam roll who ever comes of the east. Barring key injuries of course.

Rags in 4…

watching the Habs get spanked in their own building was very fulfilling.

Price is injured and out of the series. That's not good for MTL's chances.

There are times when the Hawks look like they are unbeatable…

Agree.

For the Kings to get through, Jon Quick basically has to be ridiculously good - which he's probably capable of, but just doesnt look that way consistently in these playoffs.

The Habs may be done unless Budaj or Tokarski can pull off a Dryden.
