Will likely be in receivership in short order and bikes and other gear then sold at SportCheck or Walmart after that. I believe that is his standard mode of operation. Worked really well for Iron Horse.
Brutal. I know a bunch of people that work there.
Wow, shitty. I know a few peeps over there as well.
Ride, don't slide.
Every end is a new beginning.
Realy hope everyone losing their jobs lands on their feet. Sucks. There are a lot of great people who work/worked there and hopefully their skills are valued by growing Vancouver based brands/companies like ArcTeryx, Easton/RaceFace, etc.
Also really hope there is a silver lining from Dorel in the form of increased, Vancouver based, design/marketing/etc jobs with Sombrio/Sugoi at their new Vancouver design center.
Every end is a new beginning.
Every new beginning is some other beginning's end.

No issue with it … makes sense to me, from a business perspective. At least they're not sending the jobs offshore.

Cool Vancouver is becoming a bit of a performance Apparel innovation cluster. Lulu, Arcteryx, Kit and Ace, etc.
Went on a tour of Arcteryx last year, very cool to see everything in one spot from design/plm to CS, IT, marketing etc.
Is there a Vancouver in Taiwan?! I had no idea!!
Nothing sums up my life's achievements like my stuffed corpse, suplexing a cougar.
