Anyone know why a helicopter has been flying around Capilano River / Edgemont / Grousse Mtn are all afternoon today?

Usually has something to do with an NSR rescue, police incident or forest fire (as of late). I live in Pemberton Heights, and I can still hear it circling above the highway.

When is the next fiver? I checked the website but it's been down for the last while.

It is planned for this Thursday.

Hopefully, between the current status of the parking lot and the forest fire danger, all goes according to plan!

The landing of the first drop finally got a transition and further down a bridge that can be tabled was added.

First drop looks great, but make sure to go slow…

I think you need to be Hans Rey to clean some of those steep up's.

Pingu has seen some nice work leading up to our race. A word of caution - the wooden drop near the top has gotten a new landing, but the transition is really short. It's probably faster to hit the drop than go around, but I am planning to roll it SLOW. At speed, it would be a flat landing.

shirk - can you confirm that we are indeed riding Incline and not Salvation after Corkscrew?

Yeah, the new drop is quite short.

And I think we are riding Incline (right junction) after Corkscrew. It definitely gets a little spicy in the open section before the powerlines!

Agreed, long stages seem to favor the young and childless. I propose a 3 x dadbod sprint, stages equal length with a compulsory beer chug between.
