I'm thinking about geting one of those Blackspire guides. Have you had a chance to get a few rides on it? Curious to know how the slider works versus a roller. Have you hit it on anything yet?

I've got about 6 rides on mine and zero complaints. Quiet, feels drag free and the couple hard whacks I've given the bash have hardly left a mark.

I would love to get my hands on that shock….more than a little jealous, between that and the XX1…damn…

Such a nice build…would love to hear how much it weighs.

Here my 2013 Rocky Altitude

Is there any reason not to get an Altitude?
I'm looking to upgrade from my Trance, and demo'd the Altitude 770 msl in Squamish at the Rocky demo day.
Loved the climbing, maneuverability, and ease getting air. The 750 does seem to give you the most for your money, the 750msl and up have the remote suspension adjust…but would I really use it on the shore? How do you find the 750? How's it handle compared to your last ride?

that is sweet just toying with building up a rune with a 160mm fox 36 on the front post a weight when you get it weighed

Sorry, I can't give you any reason against the Altitude ;)

It's a really great bike. The balance between uphill and downhill is perfect. On the trail it is playful, agile and quite shredable.

The Altitude replaced an Intense Tracer 2 (26"), which is a good bike, but I would say, the Altitude is more lively than the Intense.

The shock remote won't be a reason for me to go for a MSL. The 750 has the best value for money in my opinion.
Fork and shock are great, the rest is a matter of taste …
