The boys' now got 13 days in the park and maybe 20 days of pedalling in the two months he's bought them. We machined wash them (no dryer) twice now. They still look perfect. First pads he's had that haven't slipped. He's a pretty skinny kid:

Got them at "Fun For Kids" in Whistler at the entrance to the Hilton in Mountain Square. They usually give a locals discount as well or a discount for kids in a winter race program for us fake locals.

Yeah, I had to give my head a shake to see if I was remembering right. The boy still had the package in his room. $25. I felt it was very under-priced. Should have bought all three sets!

I'm only seeing those youth size knee pads on Amazon but no youth on their website or CRC. Are they really small enough for a 5 year old?

When is someone going to open a special kids bike shop in the village? They would kill it if they had all the cool stuff.

So the Kids Store in Whistler has the 7's in stock again and clearly, what we paid was a pricing error (that was our thought and I should have bought all three sets). They are now $60.
