Camping near Sun Peaks and Silver Star

Does anyone have any suggestions for camping near Sun Peaks and Silver Star? I'm not finding much with a Google search…

We have a small (18") travel trailer. Hook ups are a bonus, but not necessary. We're heading up for the BC Cup races in July, probably will stay the first weekend at Sun Peaks then head to SS for the week afterward.

If you don't care about hookups then look at McGillvary Lake near Sun Peaks. Free camping at a forestry rec site. Its only a 10 min drive to the hill max. Its logging roads but theyve always been in good condition when I've been there. The only facilities are an out house and tables. I'd suggest taking some thing to float around the lake with a few beers.

At Silver Star you can pay a few dollars to camp in one of the parking lots. Thye give you access to showers etc and I think they have hookups for rvs.

Hefley lake is that small lake about 10 min before you get to SP just before you start the big climb, we stayed there a few times when riding the lifts, they have coin op showers which is nice after a dirty day

There is an RV/tent lot at Sunpeaks. I think it's parking lot 4 up by the pool.
