TS57 Signature Collection
If I were to meet Tahnee Seagrave in passing, not knowing who she is, I would never guess she’s one of the best Downhill Racers in the world. She is unassuming and composed, with a soothing, humble voice. Put her on a bike and she transforms into an incredible, daring force.
Tahnee has faced numerous injuries through her career and has overcome them all with grace, determination and resilience. She has openly shared details of her recent struggle with a severe concussion and has come out the other end happier and stronger. Seeing her back competing and on the podium this year makes it even sweeter, knowing how hard she worked to get there.
Fox has released the new TS57 signature collection, inspired by Tahnee's vision and her new outlook. It showcases her unique style, with vibrant pink, calming yellow, and a generous amount of glitter. It captures the essence of the current Tahnee and her new mindset: A happy athlete is a healthy athlete, and a healthy athlete is a fast athlete.
The kit I received includes the following items, however there are also a few lifestyle pieces in the collection. Each piece can be purchased separately allowing you to choose what speaks to you most or best matches your wardrobe.
- Womens Flexair Long Sleeve Jersey (XS-XL) 125 CAD / 115 USD
- Womens Flexair Pants (XS-XL) 250 CAD / 190 USD
- Flexair Gloves (S-XXL) 70 CAD / 50 USD
- Vue Black/Pink Mirror Goggles 185 CAD / 150 USD
- Ranger 6” Socks (XS-XL) 21 CAD / 19 USD

Certainly the brightest and most glitter-filled package I've ever opened

The Vue TS57 Black/Pink Mirror Goggles.
The Flexair Jersey is made with Fox’s TruDri fabric. It's ideal for keeping you dry, and is made from recycled material - 94% polyester and 6% elastane. The jersey is incredibly light and it feels cool and breezy. The pink sleeves fade into sunshine yellow tips, accented with glitter details along the side seams and the front logo.
In terms of fit, this small jersey fits true to size with some room to breathe and accommodate back or chest protection. Small is my usual size, and what was recommended based on the size chart. If you prefer a tighter fit, consider sizing down to XS. I appreciate that the arms aren’t too long and that the drop tail provides some added coverage for messier rides.
Similar to the jersey, the Flexair pants are light and breathable with similar glitter details along the sides and a pink fade to yellow at the shins. The pants include two simple light blue zippers leading to fine, slightly delicate mesh pockets on the inside.
Based on the size chart I was certain the small was my best bet for the Flexair pants. Actually I was a little nervous they might be a touch tight based on previous Fox shorts I have reviewed. To my surprise, they were quite loose. Even with the belt tighened and knee pads on, there was extra fabric on the legs. With my phone in the pocket, the excess fabric bunched around the pockets, requiring adjustments mid-ride. An XS would have been a better fit, so it's good to know that despite being slim fit, these pants run slightly large.
"Happy, healthy, fast. That's my life motto now. It just boils down to those exact three words." - Tahnee Seagrave

The frosted yellow tips on the ultra lightweight Flexair Long Sleeve Jersey.

The recommended size small Flexair pants fit on the larger side, sizing down would have been a better option for me.

Not gonna lie, the shimmery pink Fox logo is pretty rad.
Continuing the look, the matching Flexair gloves are snug and have touchscreen compatibility. They are a bit warm, but the fit is excellent and the leather palms feel comfortable on my grips. The pink Ranger socks are the only pieces without glitter. Fresh socks are the best, and these have quickly become my new favorite pair.
The TS57 Vue goggles come with a black/pink mirrored lens, which is darker than I prefer for riding but they can be easily swapped out for a lighter lens. They feature an extra wide viewport for the widest view possible and have 360° venting. The only thing missing is a pink full-face helmet and matching pink Union Boa shoes—though some might say that would be over the top.
One thing to note is that the lighter colours tend to show dirt easily, especially the white palms of the gloves. I was surprised by how quickly the kit looked worn, even though I hadn't ridden in wet weather. If you prefer a clean look, it will be challenging to keep this kit looking fresh.

pink + moss green = <3

This outfit strays far from my usual style, but seeing my friends' reactions has been worth it.
Whether you're a fan of pink or not, the vibrant energy of this kit is undeniably contagious, reminding us that what we wear should make us feel comfortable and confident. It may not suit everyone, but I find it refreshing and hopefully it's everything Tahnee envisioned. Mindset does matter, and may anyone who wears it catch her infectiously positive, happy, and fast spirit.

Emma and her partner Zack joined us on our annual pilgrimage to Gargamel during Crankworx. She lit up the trail in the best way. I'm positive her kit was responsible for an extra 5-10% of good vibes that day.

I've often bought 'band t-shits' in feminine cuts because they actually fit rather than wearing a folded sheet with a head hole. I will keep an eye out!
