Post your full suspension bike! Old or new, riding or leaning against a bench, doesn't matter.

I'm once again on my 2020 Giant Reign. I actually haven't ridden for a while due to injury and I'm hoping to get back on the trails soon.

Happy New Year!

In for the bouncy bikes as well, the goal is to not get distracted by other bikes this year (especially the Raaw Jibb, dang it!) and continue to enjoy my Tyee :)  Also have a trip planned for August to go ride the Alps for a week guided and probably going to tag on a few days for unguided exploration, looking forward to summer!

You can’t easily see the offset post head or head angle steepening cup. Now it’s almost perfect.

Looking good guys!

I am rolling into '25 on my Privateer 141. Mix of xt, xtr, and Saint components. MRP coil, recently repaired Helm MKII (we'll see how long it lasts). After a lot of bike swaps the last couple of years, I am loving this thing.

I tried taking some self shot video today, I put a big stick right in the middle of the frame, pretty stupid, but in my defense I've never tried this before and it was pissing down.

Anyways here's a screen grab for a potato-cam action shot:

Rolling in to 2025 with the same bike as the last two years with some small changes.

130/150 with the Durolux up front (vice 140mm Fox 34 grip2). I'm still trying to dial in the settings on this fork. Any tips are welcome!

I'm still running an 11sp XT derailleur but swapped on a Saint shifter and 11-42 10sp Sunrace cassette. The shifting feels like an upgrade and I like that the cassette is all steel.

I still like the Continentals but am curious about a Spec Hillbilly or the New High Roller 3 up front. Alas, at my rate of consumption the Argotal will probably last at least two more seasons.

Love it. Aether 9? That frame has tempted me many a time... :)

Not feeling any need to move on from the last gen Fugitive this year although I am sometimes tempted  by a Chilcotin 155. This bike has some quirks but does everything I want. Build highlights include the Title bars and seat, Lyrik Ultimate with buttercups, Formula Curas, and Wolftooth bits n bobs. Drivetrain is a pedestrian mix of GX and XO mechanical that just works. The only thing I’m likely to replace is the Fox Transfer post — it freaking sucks! And tires of course, these ones are about done.

I'm enjoying my various title components, the saddle especially has been a pleasant surprise, and they make the best looking high rise bars.

I also have a transfer right now, I love the action and the solid thunk at full extension... When it actually extends, that is. They get so sticky as soon as it gets cold or wet or muddy, so annoying. I also have a bikeyoke on standby - I actually prefer the action of the transfer, but the bikeyoke needs to go back on. The action may not be as nice but at least it works reliably. I shimmed it down because it was too long for the tallboy, but should work at full length on the privateer. Just a bit messy to deal with so I've been putting up with the transfer.

Oh yeah I love the seat and have been meaning to get one for my hardtail too. I hated it at first but once I dialed the angle it’s been awesome.

Hear you on the Transfer. Unfortunately after 6 months that solid action is only available if I manually pull it back up for the last half inch of travel…

I just ordered that super light 25mm rise bar for an option on the Lithium! They make some cool stuff.

The whole maimed by driver goat rodeo ended January 4th. Now begins the more detailed search for the long term injury adaptation.  The dirtbag in me is leaning towards something Marino built well because old habits die hard.

A riding buddy earlier mentioned Starling bikes as an option. On whim went to see what was used that is available. Of course get to find the rider who is selling one for way too much money with a seized in dropper post. LOL Sure let me pay you $2000 plus with the risk of a frame that ends up as scrap.
