Thanks for the work on Shotgun. Trails were running great today.

If we hit that bullseye, the rest of the dominos will fall like a house of cards. Checkmate.

Dang, no mags for me to veiw in the parking lot yesterday.

Manditory, John's, Bline , Bloggy and Shotgun all clear…had to move a few fallen tree tops on John's.

Conditions are wet and slippery , ohh and somewhat muddy…just in case your completly ignorant of the rain fall.
Nice and mild though, didnt need a jacket and avoided the waves of monsoon like rain fall. Seemed most of the storm missed the 007 area for the most part.

Found a pair of elbow pads in the Woodlot today. PM if they're yours.

Yo. I've been riding the Woodlot since the trails were first built, and after a bunch of years with no bike I've been riding there again. I remember riding a trail that wound far west away from the rest of the trails, and had a huge rock drop midway down. Super long and awesome trail, but I can't find it on any current maps. Also wondering where the start of Goldmine is. Do I hang a right down the old road after the power lines, or stay left? Any info helps!!!

Ya take the right after the power lines to goldmine. And I guess you're thinking of platinum, its the furthest trail west and on a map for sure.

I rode Platinum this week and it seems like a completely different trail. It might be the same trail head but this old route for sure went farther West. Granted, I haven't ridden this presumably different trail since the early 2000's.

sure your not thinking of Woodlot Gold , it had a big rock face , back in those days Platnium was still being built from what i remember . you got too Gold off the same entrance as Krazy Karpenter , there was a big bridge over a raven

Yeah! Very big rock face/drop thing, and tons of woodwork throughout the trail.

trail is not active anymore the area with the rock was clear cut and alot of the wood work is destroyed in the 1st section i hiked it a couple of summers ago looked like it had not been ridden in yrs . you can see part of it from the start of KK , roughly where the 1st stump drop is before you ride down the short hill too the long log .

The first part of Gold (that you can see from KK) was called the "Swiss Army Knife". It had a spiral climb up with multiple options to get down. There were long skinnies before it. I was dismayed when Gold was closed. There were a few sections on it that I'd wanted to conquer.
