its a documentery, i examines the escence of comedy and the way that a joke evolves. Yeah its pretentious but see Palindromes that is a real vanity project. On second thoughts dont
personally i thought it was hilarious…it is a documentary and isn't comedy on a will farrell level…you have to listen to the comics take on how a joke can develop thru each persons interpretation of it and how it is presented

When you're making a documentary, you can make it about anything you want (especially if you have the money to cover the cost of making the movie). Whether the movie is good or if anyone watches it is a different issue. Want to make a movie about your friends telling variations on the same joke? Want to shot a movie about penguins? Want to eat nothing but McDonalds for a month? Go for it.
For what it's worth I like the movie, in a 'low expectations' kind of way.
i was sorely disappointed. it had it's good moments (saget and some others) but most of the time was a boring drag
So a man walks into a talent agents office, and says hey I have the most incredible act for you…….

I turned it off. Once the pont was made, I didn't feel like hearing the most vile things imaginable for another hour. Maybe it's just me.
