Road bike tires - Aug. 25, 2013, 4:23 p.m.

Pro 4's are nice. I am running Conti GP 4000s and they are a good durable, well protected tire. They also make a 4 season model which will be relevant in about a month!

New details up at Vancouver SuperPrestige. Preliminary calendar is up and we should get it finalized soon. The dates are all pretty firm with a couple of potential additions coming.

I'm 6' 4" and found the L Tracer 29 a perfect fit.

The Spider Comp is a large. Same geo as the L T29. The XL T29 is for sale if anyone has a tall buddy with long arms…

Tall guys can't ride Intenses because they don't make big sizes.

They do. I have a tracer 29 XL that is too big for me. I'm 6'4" and found it too long.

Wow, that was longer/more technical/more fun than I had thought it would be. I burned too many matches on the first half, and had little left on the second half of the course. Having my rear suspension fully run out of air before even starting the climbing on Happy Trail/Big Nimby didn't help either.

Haven't made the final decision yet, but I'm pretty sure I have some unfinished business that will need to be resolved on the course next year.

Is anyone else absolutely covered in mosquito bites, or am I the only slow guy who got eaten alive?

Nope. They had a good feed on me. Probably why I DNF'd. Excessive blood loss:lol:
