I wanted a dog. My wife wanted a cat. We compromised and got two cats.

Ah good ol compromising with the wife/girlfriend…

Another man with cats….maybe the gay wedding thread does fit in with the NSMB crowd after all.

I know a guy who bought his kid a compound bow.Guess how that worked out…..(think one less cat)

I've got you in my sights you stick leg pirate :cougar:

One phrase 'real men have dogs and leave cats to crazy old ladies'

actually my 4 year old is pretty adamant about getting a cat. As long as it is an outdoor cat I don't give a shit I guess.

this space is intentionally blank, other than this note about it being blank.

He might get another new toy that he loves just as much soon and then sort of abandon the drums! Until then, he's a rock star :)

I have a portable organ too.

LOL

You just need a sound proof room. Then he can beat the skins all he wants and you'll have a bit more time before the station wagon with the guys in white coats come to take you away.

At some point, this thread made a departure from the drum discussion …

I'm gonna buy drums for my sister's kids.

For years, every toy we gave to my sister's kids was intentionally noisy, loud and annoying.

Two words: "John Bonham."

Getting the drums is a questionable parenting decision.
Getting his toddler so drunk that they die from choking on vomit is definitely bad parenting.
